Fireside Chat: Exploring Women's Health Issues

In recent years, especially in Hong Kong, women's health issues have gained increasing public attention, making focusing on women's health an important part of promoting women's empowerment. In light of this, we specially arranged a Fireside Chat session during the award ceremony to explore various topics related to women's health.

Discussing health issues at an event celebrating successful women underscores the crucial connection between personal well-being and professional achievement. This alignment highlights the holistic approach needed to support women in all aspects of their lives. By addressing topics like fertility preservation, menopause, and wellness, the fireside chat provided a comprehensive look at women's health needs across different life stages.

The event was moderated by Ms. Yvette Kong, Founding Board Member of Mind Hong Kong and featured panelists Dr. Emily Po-Mui Lam, Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, The Women's Clinic Group Limited, Dr. Alice Yuen-Kwan Wong, Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, The Women's Clinic Group Limited, and Ms. Anita Chan, General Manager, Viatris Healthcare Hong Kong Limited.

The chat served as a platform to raise awareness about critical health issues, helping to destigmatize topics that are often overlooked or considered taboo. By featuring knowledgeable speakers, it offered attendees valuable, up-to-date information from trusted sources, empowering women to make informed decisions about their health. It also created a space for attendees to connect with others who share similar concerns, fostering a supportive community.
