The excitement is building as TEDxTinHau Women prepares to return with its highly anticipated event, "In Motion," on December 6 at the Grand Theatre of Xiqu Centre in West Kowloon District with the theme "Ideas Change Everything."

As the event name suggests, the event honors Tin Hau, the Chinese Goddess of the Sea, while also acknowledging Hong Kong's distinctive coastal and spiritual heritage.

What to Expect?

TEDxWomen events are TEDx events organised around TEDWomen that also include local speakers. This is one of several TEDx events around the world that will build on the ideas presented at TEDWomen. This year, the event will feature ten remarkable speakers who will challenge you to put your mind "in motion" by hearing their tales and being inspired by the power of ideas.

Speakers Lineup

The ten speakers are Katya Virshilas (BallroomBees), Sophia Hotung (creator of the Hong Konger art collection), Jessica Chan (JLL), Prof. Paul W.C. Wong (Department of Social Work and Social Administration at The University of Hong Kong), Angeline Yu (PressLogic), Debra Au (Hong Kong Management Association), Mitche Choi (Cantonese Opera performer), Dr. Vanessa Wong (Wellness advocate), Anita Lam (The Collective HK, Curator for "Artists who Love Animals and Nature"), Camille Cheng (Mind The Waves, Three-time Hong Kong Olympic Swimmer) to giveout talks related to their professions.
